At first, slow web access…slow web loading.. Numerous complaints lodged but always request you to send ping plotter result. Then, point to ISP problem. However web access is fast now. I’m not sure if is my websites content that is too heavy or Exabytes fault. Anyway, good points only friendly support staff and always got free cheap gift.
I have quite a good experience with exabytes. I never encountered any site down so far and their customer support is excellent. They reply me within 1 hour. I have a lot of space and bandwidth which I can even finish it every month!
Exabytes is good, but they have a lot of client to take care of! But still the best coldfusion web hosting ever encounter.
Exabytes is the first name that came into my mind when I was looking for Malaysian Web Hosting. I guess it’s because they have a huge presents due to their marketing strategy. Actually I didn’t do my research very well, I just rely on the brand name of Exabytes and make the purchase.
Only after the purchase I started looking for reviews (just to convince myself I think), but I was concerned by a number of bad reviews on Exabytes.
Well now it’s been almost 2 years and I can tell you that their service is absolutely superb. Speed & Uptime is what I exepected from a top company, but their customer & technical support really does surprise me. They are very responsive & helpful.
One of my site (http://jumpsacbaby.com) was down due to large traffic (we got a slot in Wanita Hari ini TV3) and I was getting messages in Facebook telling that it was down. I contacted Exabytes and immediately they responded telling me that it was because I’ve exceeded my memory allocation as I only subscribed to the Shared Hosting package. I asked them if they can help out, they immediately extend my memory allocation for a couple of days. Now that is very generous of them. And also their quick response was essential for me not to lose potential customer in that short period of time. Thinking back it was my fault as I should have prepared for that, but I was not expecting such a huge number of hits as the TV show was on a Monday afternoon. Well lesson learned.
There was also a time where I need to install a WordPress plugin that requires more than my allocated memory. I contacted them and immediately they extended my allocation. All this in less than 1 hour! There are many more instances but all I can say is that their support is top notch.
As a webmaster of an e commerce website, reliability & uptime is only part of the story, there are often times when you need fast response from the web hosting company as opportunity windows sometimes open unexpectedly (or in my case I was unprepared).
